From the moment you walk in you will feel the warmth and charm of The Colonel’s Lady.   The tea room,  café, and gift shop is open for lunch Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00PM and for formal teas by reservation only.

As an Army Officer’s Wife, Dawn Little, “The Colonel’s Lady”, has been hosting parties and entertaining guests at military functions and gatherings across the country for many years.  Much of that time was spent in the deep South, where she ran a successful catering business.  The Colonel's Lady built a solid reputation of serving quality food while providing true Southern hospitality.  Dawn has a passion for cooking and specialty teas and an even greater love of sharing her passion with others.

The U.S. Army brought the Little Family to the "Blue Grass" area where “The Colonel” was stationed at Lexington, KY. Dawn feels blessed to be able to realize her dream of opening her own Tea Room and Cafe and to have the opportunity to share her passion for great food and specialty tea with the Blue Grass community.

The Colonel’s Lady also caters special events such as bridal showers, mother daughter teas, birthday parties, office events, and other special occasions. 

The Colonel’s Lady serves a variety of homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches.  You will be sure to love the assortment of savory desserts and the handpicked specialty teas from around the world.
